Two for One Deal...

Having the long weekend with MLK Day was nice, especially after traveling to and from Waco for a convention on Friday.

Having the next day off because of the threat of ice on the roads was even nicer.

And certainly I am not complaining about having another day after that, but next time, lets make a decision BEFORE Chad gets up and is in the shower ready to tackle the day.

At any rate, if you have been keeping score, our school week will be two days long.

I could get used to this. (But I better not.)

Catching Up

When Houston freezes over...

Ah, winter. So nice to have you visit.

Temps are expected to dip below freezing, combined with some precipitation.

While I have to say the "stocking up of supplies" and the "no living thing should be out in this weather" are a little much, I would be lying if I didn't say that I am holding out hope for an extra day to our long weekend.

I mean, come on. These jokers can't drive decent when it rains hard.

Of course this just confirms that baseball is close at hand. Otherwise it would be 70 and sunny.
